Why are JWs so afraid of apostates?

their view of apostates seems to be out of the realm of the ordinary, the natural.
its as if the words of apostates are supernatual or spiritistic as if apostates are some kind of jedi knights who can slightly wave their hands or twitch their eyes and bring one under a spell.

Theists, why does God allow suffering..
by The Quiet One in..specifically, the suffering of animals.
you can talk about free will/sin/people choosing to not listen to god etc to explain human suffering being allowed.. but how can you love a god that allows animals, that haven't sinned or chosen to not have anything to do with god, to have their short lives ended in often long, drawn out, painful ways.
i could list stories i've read that would probably make you feel ill, but i'm not looking to shock anyone or start an emotional debate.

A farce elder here
by His Excellency injust to share a little about me:.
i was recently appointed an elder, about 6 months ago now, and that is exactly two years after my awakenning, but funny that the appointment came also about 2 years after i had completely lost all faith in god and had been leading a full time anti-jw life .
makes you wonder the role of the holy spirit in the entire nomination or appointment process.. .

You sound as though you have made your life into a personal crusade, as though your life's only goal is to force as many as possible to see the Watchtower as a cold place to be, but why do you feel the need to take this upon yourself? If you force them towards becoming bitter and angry people like yourself, how have you benefitted them exactly? And if the Watchtower org is a cold, harsh and terrible place for everyone to be (which it is not for all), then will they not see that for themselves? The information is out there and available. And if they are living a braindead, comfortable, cozy little life and not willing to think about things, what right do you have to treat them harshly.. to deliberately try to force them towards an outcome that may be worse for them.. but that YOU have decided is better for them?..
What is your real goal? To help others to live a happier and more contented life? Or to risk damaging their self esteem and family lives permanently, so that you can feel better that one more person is free, 'thanks to you' with your efforts and manipulations?"
